Christos Timagenis & Yiannis Timagenis Contribute to Cambridge Forum on International Shipping Disputes

Our partners, Christos Timagenis and Yiannis Timagenis, participated in the Cambridge Forum on International Shipping Disputes, held on November 16-18, 2025, in Surrey, United Kingdom.

Yiannis Timagenis, Co-Chair of the Steering Committee, moderated a session on Decarbonization: “Contracts Under Carbon Pressure – the Future Disputes Landscape”. The session examined decarbonization regulation, FuelEU Maritime compliance allocation and challenges in transitioning to alternative fuels.

Christos Timagenis, also a member of the Steering Committee, moderated discussions on Sanctions, covering the framework of US, EU, UK, and UN sanctions, the “dark fleet” phenomenon and implications for marine insurance and P&I coverage.
