Marilena joined the Firm in 2014. She is admitted to the Piraeus Bar Association and is currently in the process of being qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales. Marilena specialises in shipping and commercial litigation. Her areas of practice focus primarily on maritime law, banking law, commercial law and environmental law. She has also been involved in English shipping arbitrations, in civil litigation before Greek Courts of all levels and in applications to the European Court of Human Rights in respect of banking law issues. She has also experience in shipping finance transactions as well as in ship registration and in the establishment and operation of shipbroking and management offices in Greece.
