Mariangela is both a qualified Greek Lawyer (Piraeus Bar) and a qualified Solicitor (England and Wales). Mariangela practices in the areas of shipping litigation and of corporate law. In the area of litigation, her work covers a wide range of civil litigation matters, both in Greece and in other jurisdictions, in relation to disputes arising under shipbuilding contracts, charterparties, management agreements, from the sale and purchase of ships and from marine casualties. Mariangela has also extensive experience, acting on behalf of banks as creditors, in relation to the enforcement of their rights against the debtors in multiple jurisdictions.

In relation to corporate law, Mariangela provides advice on a wide range of matters including joint ventures, shareholders agreements, corporate structures and restructuring, reorganisations of businesses and capital structures mostly of overseas shipowning, holding and managing companies.
